Congress Promoting Kindness

All of our leaders have been influenced by their grandparents. Truth be told, grandparents run the country – from the President on down – because they influence all of us with their values.

I’m encouraging my Congressional colleagues to post their grandparents’ stories here so that we can not only contribute positively to the values discussion in our country but also to encourage teenage grandchildren to talk about their grandparents with their peers and post their grandparents’ stories here as well.

We each can learn a lot from the collective conscience our grandparents offer. In turn, we each can influence our nation and world.
